Groundwater Quality Survey
Various chemicals present in the groundwater can cause serious health problems or cause groundwater tastes unpleasant.
Water Innovation Lab in collaboration with the Graduate School of Science, RUPP and Faculty of Science and Technology, IU had conducted field surveys and laboratory analyses of groundwater in the Tonle Sap Great Lake basin.
One of the objectives of this project was to assess the quality of drinking groundwater sources by comparing with Cambodian drinking water quality standard and WHO’s drinking water quality guidelines.
Our investigation is now extended to the Northeastern part of Cambodia covering seven provinces including Preah Vihear, Stung Treng, Rattanakiri, Mondolkiri, Kratie, Thboungkhmum and Kampong Cham.
